About the business and the role

We are a local alcohol beverage manufacturer, importer and distributor with a proud family history. We have a modern bottling facility where we blend and bottle our own award winning spirits. 

We are looking for a hard working "hands-on" operator with 1-2 years manufacturing experience to assist with the smooth running of our bottling line on day shift between the hours of 8.00am-4.30pm.

Job tasks and responsibilities

• Set -up and coordinate the smooth and efficient production of the bottling line according to manufacturing schedule. This includes set up of stacking of bottles onto bottling line, packing of bottles into cartons and packing of cartons onto pallets.

• Manual handling and some heavy (assisted) lifting required up to 18kg

• Assist with continuous improvement initiatives to optimise equipment efficiency and quality output

• Assist Warehouse Supervisor as required

• Other adhoc duties as requested

Skills and experience

You MUST have:

• 1-2 years manufacturing experience mandatory

• Current Drivers Licence and Forklift licence mandatory

• A "can-do" positive attitude, strong work ethic and willingness to learn

• Be a quick thinker who shows initiative

• Bottling line experience in beverage manufacturing advantageous
