Physically fit, experienced heavy production workers required for foundry work in Wingfield. Potential for work on both day and night shifts- the successful candidate must be willing to work 4 x12 hour shifts a week.
Fettling requires the use of 24” Pedestal Grinders, 9” and 5” Grinders to grind and finish metal parts moulded on site. The successful candidates would be responsible for grinding and removing excess parts from metal moulds of various weights from a vibrating conveyor belt, completing up to 500 parts per hour between two workers. The position contains repetitive movement and some heavy lifting.
You will be required to work 4 x 12 hour shifts per week, with some opportunity for overtime if desired.
We would like to hear from anyone who has:
- Experience working in a similar role- production/welding/quality checks
- Recent, relevant heavy production experience (within the last 6 months)
- Willingness to work hard in a physically demanding role
- Attention to detail & ability to clearly follow instructions
