YOUR OPPORTUNITY:
We are looking to appoint an experienced Operations Leader with full responsibility for manufacturing and delivery for the Stegbar business based in Rowville, Victoria.
Your key responsibilities will be:
- Overall responsibility for the day to day manufacturing performance of all product lines within the business;
- Ensure factory teams operate within a “Lean Manufacturing Culture” providing guidance and education to other staff in respect of Lean Principles known as the JELD-WEN Excellence Model (JEM) within our business.
- Ensure a first class safety culture is present within the business by providing strong leadership and adherence to company safety policies;
- Provide a mentoring environment for other managers where they can learn and grow to fulfil their potential within the Stegbar Rowville team and the broader JELD-WEN organisation.
YOUR STRENGTHS:
- Previous experience in highly developed, competitive manufacturing environments with international experience highly regarded
- A bachelor’s degree in a related discipline (highly desirable)
- Demonstrated expertise Manufacturing, Procurement, Inventory Management and Safety Management.
- Career history of significant operational improvement, both in safety, product manufacture, and delivery of product.
- Senior Leadership and people skills with the ability to grow those people in your team.
