Our new opportunity is for an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer or a Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer in our Manufacturing team. We are looking for suitably qualified applicants with sufficient general aviation experience and the ability to effectively and efficiently contribute towards the assembly and production of aircraft. You will actively impact the operations of the Manufacturing department in a mentoring and reference capacity, with your insistence on quality and efficiency at all times.

The AME (Manufacturing) will be responsible for;

  • Manufacture and install a wide range of aircraft components and assemblies, including but not limited to the rigging of flight controls, in accordance with production drawings and quality assurance requirements.
  • Support of Apprentices and other production staff including the indirect support of those pursuing AME status
  • Completion of work orders and associated paperwork in a timely and accurate manner.
  • All aircraft manufacture carried out must be of the highest standard and recorded correctly in accordance with the Company Procedures Manual Vol 2 and to the satisfaction of the Quality Assurance Department.
  • Working across the full range of manufacturing activities as directed by management
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment at all times

To be considered for this role, you MUST address the following selection criteria:

  • Must have completed Cert IV in Aeroskills – or be within 3 months accreditation
  • Demonstrated willingness to support apprentices and other production staff (experience preferable).
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate well both verbally and in written form, as well as complete general administration tasks associated with manufacturing and quality assurance
  • Previous exposure to total compliance with OH&S policies, rules and regulations
  • Previous experience in a general assembly, trade or manufacturing capacity
  • Basic to intermediate level of computer literacy
