Hitachi Construction Machinery Australia (HCA) is a leading manufacturer of construction and mining equipment. With a solid network of branches nationally, we service a multitude of customers, including mining, construction, quarry and forestry with quality equipment and after sales support.

The Role

With strong growth in the SEQ region, our Brisbane branch has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Field Service Supervisor to join the business. Your key drivers will be to plan, organise and supervise the activities of the Field Service Team, leading 10 technicians in delivering total quality and service to meet customer requirements. Reporting to the Service Manager, your core responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring compliance with company Environmental Policy, Quality Assurance Systems and Workplace Health & Safety Requirements
  • Coordinating and organising timely service and labour schedules for parts and customer assistance requests
  • Providing accurate quotations for retail and field service jobs with corresponding service administration
  • Monitoring and Consultation on service rework requirements and currents works in progress

   To be successful, you must have demonstrated experience in delivering outcomes:

  • Relevant Trade Qualifications – previous work history with earthmoving equipment is highly advantageous.
  • Analytical thinking – Ability to navigate complex technical issues to deliver timely, quality, permanent outcomes;
  • Autonomous productivity – Previous Supervisory experience with keen Initiative to plan and prioritise multiple work fronts efficiently and effectively;
  • Creative problem solving – Continually finding ways to overcome obstacles and delivering quality outcomes
