Supply Chain and Distribution Manager.

Stamford Tyres, a leading distributor of new Tyre and Wheels, is looking for an experienced Supply Chain Professional to head its National Supply Chain department.

Located in Smithfield, NSW, you will be responsible for the entire end to end Supply Chain of the Australian business.

Main responsibilities are:

1. Manage the warehouse/logistics for company

2. Coordinating with the various internal departments and Overseas and Local Suppliers/Customers on purchasing/pricing and scheduling for import, exports and local deliveries within Australia

3. Managing Local and Overseas freight forwarders and Transport companies.

4. Manage Inventory control for local and interstate branches and manage stock take and monitor cycle counts.

5. Sales review and reports for Branches for General Manager and Sales representatives

6. Oversee goods receipting overseas and local.

7. Review customer complaints and warranty claims from product technical perspective for General Manager.

8. Maintenance of On-Line ordering website

Ideally the candidate will possess the following skills and attributes:

• Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role
• Experience in a similar tyre and wheel distribution business will be a distinct advantage 
• Strong Analytical modeling skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Team player and ability to work with people from a diverse range of cultural backgrounds
• Excellent communication skills

Remuneration for this role will be negotiated relevant to past achievements and experience
