We are currently seeking a motivated individual to take up a position of Customer Service Officer within our Customer Service Team for our Decor Division in South Brisbane.

You will bring a positive and friendly attitude along with a high level of service to both internal and external customers.

Your core responsibilities will include (but not limited to):

  • Processing of customer orders and inquiries
  • Taking and accurately managing phone enquiries from internal and external customers
  • Processing customer rebates, credits and warranty claims in a timely manner
  • Reporting sales and warranty data to senior management
  • Supporting internal and external customers with inventory levels, order status and delivery schedules
  • Liaise with key staff and departments to ensure customers orders and expectations are met on time and in full
  • Accurate data entry and word processing
  • Receipting and dispatching site orders and transfers for all small freight
  • Invoicing of reconciliations

About you:

  • Be a service-oriented professional with a minimum of two years experience in a Customer Service role
  • Are pro-active and responsible with the ability to multi-task on a daily basis
  • Have a bright and positive attitude with a strong attention to detail and ability to adhere to team directives to ensure department success
  • A self-motivated, resourceful individual with the ability to work independently as needed
  • Ability to communicate well and work closely within a team environment
  • Reliable, punctual and presentable
  • Upper Intermediate to Expert competency levels in MS Word and MS Excel
  • Good literacy and numeracy skills
  • Experience with using QAD, MFG Pro or similar integrated business system is desirable
