Located in Dandenong South, Jayco is a company built on a reputation of quality, customer satisfaction and innovation. We are currently seeking a Customer Focus Auditor to identify the issues on the production lines by auditing vans and providing solutions and actions to prevent the issues from reoccurring. The mains functions of this role include investigating, correlating and understanding both the internal and external quality failure data for quality improvement.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

• Audit 2 to 3 vans per week for quality issues
• Identify issues on the audited vans
• Work on root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventative actions on the production line
• Create Safety Operating Procedures and General Work Instructions
• Review the existing quality control systems, control and applications for integrity
• Create new processes for production if required
• Work closely with manufacturing and assembly lines

To be successful in this role you will have the following experience & will need to be able to demonstrate the following:

• Have at least 2 years experience within a manufacturing environment
• Sound knowledge of problem solving skills (Fishbone diagram, 8D, etc)
• Have mechanical aptitude – trade qualifications would be an advantage
• Able to use basic measuring tools and equipment
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
• Can create simple technical reports
• Ability to work independently as well as team
