Our Client, an International Galvanizing company located in Girraween are currently seeking a Production Supervisor to join their well-established team. Reporting to the Operation Manager, you will be responsible for supervising the overall safety, quality & production operations.

The successful candidate must be flexible with work hours & shifts, as there will be a rotating roster between day/afternoon & night. Successful candidates will expect to earn an attractive hourly rate of $38/hr+ pending experience. For the right candidate this will be a genuine long-term career with the opportunity to work across multiple sectors of the company. Duties will include but are not limited to:

• Supervising the operators within the galvanizing plant
• Ensure production quality & customer satisfaction is maintained
• Working with your team to ensure production deadlines are met
• Liaising with the Operation Manager to forecast Labor & Production requirements
• Implementing a safe work culture by coordinating the identification, reporting & investigation of all potential hazards & incidents

To be considered for the role you must:

• Previous Industrial or Trades Background in a supervisor/team leading capacity
• Strong Communication & Team Leading Skills
• Strong Understanding & Commitment to Safety
• Production & Scheduling Knowledge
• Intermediate Computer Skills
• MUST be able to pass a drug & alcohol test.
