Rae-Line is one of the largest commercial upholstery and sports and safety padding companies in Australia. We supply some of the biggest names in the automotive, heavy transport and sports padding industries including Kenworth, Iveco, Paccar Parts, Bounce and Socobell. Based in a modern manufacturing complex, occupying eight factories in Kilsyth, Rae-Line currently employs more than 70 employees. As Rae-Line is growing its business into new areas the need to focus on design factors and build on the Product Development department is becoming essential. SUMMARY:

Working Monday to Thursday from 6am to 4pm with the occasional Friday long weekends is one of the ways we maintain our positive environment!

Each and every role is important at Rae-Line. Working as a part of our team together we ensure production requirement are achieved on a daily basis, this ensures our clients expectations are meet and were possible exceeded.

Suitable candidates should be able to perform stated duties and responsibilities with minimal supervision.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES includes but is not limited to the following:

  • Ensure that SAFETY FIRST principles are applied and maintained   Occupational Health, Safety and Environment policies and procedures.
  • Quality standards, practices and targets are met daily.
  • Maintaining 5S principles.
  • Adhere to Company Policies and Procedures.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

  • Experience in manufacturing environment
  • Understanding and/or experience with common manufacturing methods and principles
  • General Factory experience working in a fast passed environment
  • Experienced using hand tooling
  • Able to read drawings and follow work instructions
