Purchasing Officer- Office products/ Furniture Specialist
Rapidly expanding company
QCA is a leading company in the national office products supply sector. We are looking to appoint a purchasing officer to join our hardworking & highly motivated procurement team.
The position will work closely with the National Purchasing manager to undertake a complete review and upgrade of the existing furniture database and maintain to ensure currency & relevance of information in the following
- product description, images and supporting references
- replenishment and forecasting matrices
- purchase price tables
- vendor detail & references
- national process manuals
The candidate must have a minimum 5 years work history in purchasing/ procurement/ inventory management roles within the office products/furniture industry and proven analytical skills and strong time management to work within tight deadlines. You will have excellent excel skills and knowledge of ERP systems (experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV desirable).
The role is highly customer and team focused, required to support the purchasing manager in meeting the business demands as we follow an aggressive growth strategy.
