About the Role:

This role is to play support for the export department and is primarily externally focused. This role is to ensure customer and business needs are met in regards to evaluating and suggesting promotions, product range maintenance,  new product development, catalogue development and maintenance, market opportunities, market research, sales reporting, sample coordination, customer follow up, presentation development and price file responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance of Product Range, Catalogue and pricing files
  • Upkeep and adjustments to Export Strategy document
  • Promotional booking and evaluation
  • Weekly sales reporting
  • Presentation development
  • Customers follow up.

Skills/Competencies:

  • Japanese or Korean lanuage preferred but not essential
  • Experience in sales or related function with understanding of sales processes and best practices
  • Degree educated preferred but not essential.
  • A minimal level of  Project management experience
  • Strong communication skills with an emphasis on excellent listening and interaction skills
  • Strong relationship building skills
  • Able to deliver results through collaboration and influencing
  • Confidence and a persuasive manner 
  • Good conflict resolution skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work well under deadlines and pressure
  • Excellent analytical skills that enable coordination of data, including MS-Office (primarily PowerPoint, Word, Outlook and Excel)
  • The ability to prioritise tasks and be able to manage several projects and tasks simultaneously; and the ability to interface with all levels of management
