We are an Australian owned meat processing plant based in Dandenong South, seeking a Full Time highly motivated and experienced Export Documentation Officer to join the team.

We are looking for a person who has high attention to detail, is focused, confident and who will be responsible for servicing our key accounts.

Your primary responsibilities will include organizing shipments, following up on orders with overseas offices and/or agents, tracking shipments and maintaining shipment reports within our internal tracking system.

The successful applicant must have a minimum of 3 years Export industry experience; the ability to problem solve and think on your feet; as well as building positive relationships with clients is extremely important.

Your role will be varied with duties including, but not limited to:

Receiving, checking and processing orders

Creating of export commercial documentation for containerised cargo

Liaising with shipping companies for shipping instructions and bills of landing

Liaising with banks on Letter of Credit documents and ensure the same is processed accurately

Proactively updating clients and stakeholders.

Lodgement of requests with DAWR ensuring correct export permits are issued.

Liaising with overseas offices / agents

Preparing and maintaining client shipment reports and payment for key accounts

Key Attributes required include:

·         Knowledge of the meat industry will be an advantage but not essential
