Our client, Australia's premier grower of fresh fruit and vegetables are seeking experienced Machine Operators, Forklift Drivers, MR Truck & Support Staff to join their team in Mernda as ongoing Day Shift casuals.

Candidates must be physically fit, efficient and have a strong attention to detail.

To be considered for the position you must successfully complete a
Pre-Employment Functional Assessment and Drug & Alcohol Test

To be successful in these role’s you must have:

Warehouse, Forklift Drivers, Machine Op & MR Drivers:

• Previous picking experience in a warehouse or factory environment, RF scanning is an advantage
• Be computer literate
• Must have a good mechanical aptitude
• High attention to detail, be reliable and take pride in your work
• Be willing to learn and have the ability to work under pressure.
• Your own reliable transport
• Flexibility to work over a 7 day rotating roster
• Some positions Ability to work in a 0-4 degree environment (some cold weather gear is provided)

Post Harvest Support Staff:

• Daily set-up in sheds
• Collecting & weighing product and placing on pallets
• Quality inspection
• Moving product quickly and efficiently using safe manual handling methods
• Communication with staff and supervisors relating to product requirements
• Discarding of product
• Cleaning
• Available and flexible to work 7 days rotating roster

Food production experience is preferred however if you have a can do attitude our client is willing to train the right candidate.
