We are looking for a bright and conscientious person to join our team as a Purchasing Assistant

Based in our head office in Kewdale, you will be trained in the day-to-day responsibilities involved with purchasing administration.  You will work closely with suppliers to ensure product purchases are delivered on time, in full and in line with RCT policies and procedures.

Reporting to the Supply Manager, you will be responsible for a diverse range of duties such as:

• Liaising with suppliers
• Maintaining purchase order due dates
• Communicating purchase order status
• Data entry
• Raising purchase orders
• Conducting competitive price research
• Assisting the Purchasing Officer with daily activities
• Obtaining inventory data as directed
• Other tasks as directed by Supply Manager

• Be prepared to learn
• Be self - driven and keen to complete tasks
• Have good communication skills
• Have a keen eye for detail
