Jaspa Herington is Queensland's premier textiles supplier and only pillow & quilt manufacturer. Australian-owned for over 20 years, Jaspa Herington is a manufacturer and importer of a complete range of bedroom sleepwear for commercial accommodation markets – hospitality, healthcare, mining and retail.
Reporting to the Operations Manager this position will have the following responsibilities:

Coordinating staff & processing daily production schedule

Hands on role, experience operating machinery and maintenance skills
-
Processing customer orders & ensuring customer delivery dates are met
-
Assisting with loading and unloading deliveries
-
Receiving inbound goods
-
Managing and meeting KPI's within an manufacturing environment
-
Create and produce relevant production reports
To be successful for this role you will have the following attributes:
-
Be a strategic thinker that can balance the needs of the customer and the efficient use of the production plant

Hold a current vehicle & forklift license.
-
Ability to communicate on the phone with freight companies and other team members
-
Strong organizational skills
-
An understanding of workplace health & safety laws
-
A practical person who enjoys both manual tasks and computer based planning and organizing tasks.

More than 3+ years experience in production & warehouse
-
Strong computer skills, Pronto Xi & IFS Freight management would be an advantage.

A proactive, positive approach to your work and a willingness to develop & grow

Ability to work as integral part of a highly motivated small team

Excellent communication skills, numeracy, problem solving skills and attention to details
