To contribute to our continued success, Boral is looking for a Supply Chain Analyst to innovate, support and collaborate with our talented and dedicated Logistics teams who pride themselves on being number one in their field.
As an integral member of the Supply Chain and Logistic team, you will be responsible for supply chain metrics and reporting, system master data management, and analysis that drives Supply Chain tactical and strategic decisions.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter, quick learner, critical thinker, and able to complete advanced high-quality analysis within tight deadlines and experienced in using data to influence and motivate others.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and participate in cross-functional projects for process improvement, service and on time delivery improvement and cost reduction while balancing multiple stakeholders
- Responsible for the development and management of business metrics and reporting
- Facilitate discussion to drive supply chain excellence through data analysis
- Gather data, conduct analysis with objective of improving supply chain operations
- Support and facilitate ideation workshops
- Partner with Business to understand business/division objectives
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Project Management, or Operations Management
- 1 - 3 years in Supply Chain, Logistics, and/or Analytics preferred
- In-depth knowledge of Excel, Access and SQL as a bonus
- Collaborative work style, able to influence, build rapport with and communicate effectively with stakeholders across functions and levels
- Project management experience - strong planning, organisational and execution skills
- Innovative approach, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Achievement Focus
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt / Black Belt is a plus
