The purpose of the Blow Mould Technician role is to provide technical support (e.g troubleshooting and rectifying any issues) to the machines, ensuring all machinery is running effectively, producing good quality product as per the specifications and reporting technical issues to the shift team leader. In additional, ensuring all OH&S requirements are adhered to, meeting efficiency targets and conducting minor machine maintenance as required.
Labourpower are currently looking for two technicians: one for afternoon shift (3pm-11pm) and one for night shift (11pm-7am).
To be considered for this role, you will be required to demonstrate prior skill and experience including;
Fitter & Turner qualification ideal, however not essential
3-5 years experience setting, operating and problem solving on blow moulding machines
- Proven experience in a manufacturing environment/background
- Knowledge of Quality Management Systems - e.g. ISO9001, OH&S Management Systems and 5S Housekeeping Systems
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Able to work in a team as well as autonomously
