The Company

Our client is looking for a highly skilled and ambitious Production Planner to join their team based in Brisbane. This is a new role and an exciting opportunity to join a well respected Australian organisation with a strong presence in the market.

The Role

Your responsibilities will include;

• Ensure the consistent supply of raw product into production and investigate any supply shortages
• Continuously review production requirements and schedule production to ensure customer service levels are met
• Work cross-functionally to ensure a detailed production plan is achieved and actively review production schedules for individual SKU's
• Control all short term planning activities and investigate issues with other departments to promote continuous improvement

Your Background

In order to be successful in this role you will need;

• To be system savvy with experienced in using Microsoft Excel.
• 1 – 3 years experience as a Production or Supply Planner is essential
• Strong communication skills with the ability to lead and influence production workers and develop strong processes
• A good understanding of best practice planning techniques and the drive to continuously improve process 
• A high level of thoroughness and attention to detail with an analytical approach
