Peppers Silo Hotel is an inspiring $30 million redevelopment of the Kings Wharf grain silos in Launceston, Tasmania. The nine storey hotel consists of 108 rooms, including 52 in the barrels of the former silos, and overlooks the nearby tourist drawcards of Seaport, Royal Park, the Tamar River Basin and Cataract Gorge. A vibrant level 1 houses a 200 seat restaurant, café, cocktail bar, lounge and a number of meeting rooms.
We are seeking a hard working & energetic Store Person to join our team on a casual basis.
You will be responsible for establishing & following procedures in ordering, receiving, storing and distributing items for all areas of the Hotel. You will ensure par levels are maintained at all times, completing orders, entering details of received requisitions and invoices into a computerized system as well as conducting stocktakes and the unloading of and delivery of goods to the relevant outlet or Department in a timely manner.
As well as showing initiative and having a commitment to WHS policies and procedures you will be hard working and have a passion for getting the job done. A proven track record of experience within a similar role, excellent communication skills and a high attention to detail are a must. Additionally you will have basic computer skills.
