Your new role
In your new IT Procurement Manager job you will lead ICT procurement planning within the ICT Delivery Plan, relating to overall procurement numbers, types, amounts, and timing. You will drive ICT projects, up to a yearly value of $50 million, within the ICT Delivery Plan to ensure ICT Procurement Strategies are completed as required.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be considered for the position of IT Procurement Manager, you will have the following:
- Experience developing, leading and executing corporate procurement strategies including crafting negotiation strategies and closing deals with optimal terms.
- Experience performing cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking including tracking and reporting key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.
- Experience monitoring compliance with Procurement Framework, whole of government requirements and legislation.
- Experience providing expert support and advice in procurement governance, expense management, and procurement systems in accordance with the service descriptions and service levels.
- Experience performing category, sourcing, contract and supplier management.
