The Position
We are looking for a SERVICE MANAGER for our Victoria/Tasmania Office located in Melbourne's South East. Reporting to the State Manager, this role involves managing the day to day running of the Service Department, working with the staff to achieve efficiencies and service growth in our segments.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the Service Business of the State and the Service Technicians
- 50-70% of this role will be spent out on the road, driving productivity with a hands on approach
- Project manage installations and commissioning
- Support preparation of service tenders where required and execution of service contracts as per agreement
- Develop efficiency and productivity strategies of the Service Techs Team
- Coordinate closely with the Service Coordinator in achieving revenue
- Monitor field operation costs in line with the Company's Profit & Loss
- Maintain and develop existing and new customers to optimise quality of service, business growth and customer satisfaction
- Assist in stocktake
- Drive health and safety to achieve compliance requirements
- Drive induction and training of all personnel
About You
- Min 3-4 years' experience in similar service/operation management and having managed a small team [8-10 pax]
- Experience in the Service or the building and construction industry
- Understands Service Business ie. Maintenance process and technical understanding including product knowledge
- Trades certificate a requirement
- Adept with OHS laws and legislations
- Intermediate to advance knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, TSM an advantage
- Experience with Union/EBA an advantage
- Physically fit and must have current driver's license
