About the Role:
To participate in warehouse operations and activities including helping with the loading and unloading of products, and delivering the goods supplies and products to our customers where they may have to accept payment and handle other paperwork related to the delivery. The role will also include duties in the Warehouse such as picking, packing, receiving and other warehouse tasks as required by the Supervisor/ Manager.
Drivers will often deal with customers; therefore, we are looking for applicants with initiative, who are neat, well spoken, courteous and work well in a team environment as well as at times with little supervision.
You will be required to:
- Deliver goods to customers in a safe and timely manner
- Check paperwork to match the manifest
- Goods sorting and organising runs in an efficient manner
- Loading goods
- Ensure that POD's signed correctly
- General warehouse duties as required
Person specifications:
- A current driver's licence
- Good time management and organisational skills
- Highly motivated, flexible with a solid work ethic and positive attitude
- Excellent attention to detail
- Reliable, honest and trustworthy
