The Role

Electrolux has an exciting opportunity for an experienced motivated and pro-active Supply Planning professional who has a genuine interest in international logistics. The main objective of the role is to ensure improved demand flow performance (delivering on time, at least cost) by managing the day-to-day supply chain for an assigned range of imported finished goods from various locations around the world. Sources include Electrolux factories, and OEM manufacturers.

Key Operational Responsibilities:

As the Supply Planner, you will carry out all necessary steps within the international supply chain that include, but are not limited to:

• Expediting production and transportation
• Providing forecasts to our suppliers
• Managing and ensuring integrity of inventory levels
• Managing the flow on JD Edwards
• Ensuring all transportation links are forecasted, secure and connected
• End to end management of the supply replenishment plan
• Ensuring priorities are communicated to all stakeholders
• Support the Supply Planning Manager in a number of strategic development projects and the regular SI&OP process.

We are looking for:

To be successful, you will have the drive and ambition to make a mark in this role. Ideally you will have prior experience of International Logistics (Supply Planning), working for a global manufacturer within the Consumer Goods, FMCG or similar industry. You will have the ability to generate effective solutions to demand flow issues, from close interaction with your customers and colleagues, through awareness of their needs, business strategies and market activities.

Essential:

• 3+ years of experience in a supply planning/international logistics role
• Excellent interpersonal, and communication skills - both written and verbal
• Advanced level of Excel and business reporting tools (e.g. COGNOS)
• Proficiency in ERP, and Demand Replenishment Planning (DRP) systems
• Excellent numeracy skills, and ability to analyse data
• Track record of success in achieving and maintaining inventory levels within budgeted levels
• Excellent time management skills, with the ability to work flexible hours and to tight deadlines
• Successful relationship management, customer service and administrative skills

   

Preferred Experience:

• Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain
• Experience using JD Edwards, and Demand Solutions
