The Procurement Manager will drive cost-savings through optimizing supplier relationships, controlling pricing, and purchasing of key ingredients.
Reporting directly into the CEO, this role will actively challenge prices and deliver profit improvement plans to the business.

Description
Key Responsibility
- Costs savings in line with budget expectations
- Facilitate and manage Purchasing Agreements through effective sourcing, negotiation, and maintenance of key ingredients with suppliers
- Creation and maintenance of a continuous improvement plan to provide cost saving initiatives and information to the business
- Control of pricing, optimization of buying power through setting MOQs in line with all sales and forecasting
- Manage the entire purchasing process for existing and new products and the pricing within the ERP system
- Review and match stock and inventory against sales through MOQ’s to control inventory value
- Manage supplier agreements for electricity, gas and forklifts, telephone and data plans
- Ensure DIFOT targets & objectives are met through overseeing and troubleshooting material and packaging issues
- Align Procurement objectives with management direction through adhering to policies and practices set by the business, including OH&S requirements, and respecting company property
- Support Management in promoting of GMP standards across the site
Profile
Candidate Profile
- FMCG experience- namely in pharmaceutical, cosmetic, or food
- Supplier relationship management experience
- Commercially driven mindset
- Experience with chemicals
- High level of commercial acumen including excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Can do attitude
