Due to an internal promotion we have an exciting opportunity in the Salisbury based Creative Product Hub, for a talented Garment Technician.

Reporting to the General Manager Product, you will be responsible for the production of garment specifications, technical advice to onshore and offshore manufacturing units and attendance at fit meetings with the Product Creation Team as required, ensuring the integrity of the design and the highest level of quality is maintained at all times.

Some Key Performance Indicators for this role include:

  • Ensuring appropriate development documentation is created and updated for assigned styles, including bill of materials, measurements, constructions and artworks.
  • Consolidation of materials, leveraging components and driving efficiencies across the company.
  • Ensuring quality in all areas of sample manufacture.
  • Completion of technical paths according to the critical path deadlines (Proto, Agent Samples, size sets etc).
  • the follow up and on time delivery of Proto, Agent samples and Size sets. 

Essential to your successfull performance in this role is your in-depth knowledge of Cad pattern making software, Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop and a good working knowledge of garment fitting and pattern alterations with experience of Gerber or Lectra Pattern Making software.
 
We would expect you to have an understanding of  production specifications and the ability to follow the garment throughout the concept and sign off for production.
