Our client is an international market leading manufacturing company with a long-standing history of supplying their high-quality products to a global market. They are now seeking a Purchasing Officer to join their team in Western Sydney.
Reporting to the Plant Manager, your responsibilities will include the timely and efficient purchasing of a range of goods and services across the business, raising purchasing orders, as well as liaising with suppliers regarding order and delivery confirmation. This role will also see you maintaining purchasing history reports and data.
To be successful in this role you will be a Purchasing Officer with experience within an industrial manufacturing environment. You will also have experience using ERP systems, with experience using SAP being advantageous. You will also ideally be a confident user of Excel software.
In addition, your high attention to detail and excellent communication skills will see you succeed in this exciting opportunity with an international icon in their respected field.
