An exciting, full time opportunity has arisen for a highly organized team player to join our business in the role of Procurement Officer.

This is a fast paced role and in order to succeed you will need to possess exceptional IT skills, high attention to detail and experience in a FMCG environment. 

Essential Experience

  • Solid experience in purchasing (manufacturing environment would be advantageous)
  • Understanding of office management tools and systems including the Microsoft office suite and MRP systems (Movex would be highly regarded)
  • Strong ability to problem solve, multi task and prioritise multiple tasks
  • Strong verbal communication skills and experience in dealing with stakeholders at all levels

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring all materials are purchased and expedited in the most cost-effective manner possible
  • Maintaining MRP system throughout the PO process (raising, updating and tracking)
  • Stock forecasting and inventory management
  • Handling day to day internal and external stock enquiries from suppliers and the workshop in a timely and professional manner
  • Analyse and report on all purchasing activities across the business
  • Continuously improving our supply chain activity with vendors and the workshop
  • Implementing and monitoring Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and benchmarks
  • Supplier relationship management
