Eco-Farms, the leading wholesale organic food specialists in Australia is seeking an ambitious and energetic individual to assist our Queensland State Manager based at Carole Park Qld
The emphasis of this role is to progress the Company's success given our commitment to excellence and high-quality standards for our extensive range of fresh Organic produce and groceries.
Liaising heavily with internal departments, you will be involved and assist in the development, implementation, documentation and maintenance of the quality management system to HACCP/ Woolworths SE/Coles HARPS/ SQF ed.8 Food manufacturing and quality /Organics /SMETA Pillar 2 standards
Key Accountabilities:
- Ensure all quality systems are adhered at all times including the Start-up checks
- Ensure that the organisation complies with regulatory and customer requirements
- Review SOP's and develop where required
- Develop and facilitate training for quality process / procedures
- Verified QC Checks, Packaging & Label Reviews
- Develop and manage product specifications and COAs
- Manage customer enquiries / complaints
- Prepare and support site for audits
To be successful in this role you will possess:
- Tertiary qualifications in food technology / science desirable
- A minimum of 3 years' Quality assurance experience in a FMCG environment
- Formal Principle and application of HACCP Training
- Formal Internal auditor training
- Highly developed written and verbal communications skills
- Work with QC staff and Line Leaders for daily QC activities
- Ability to engage with all levels of the business, from leadership to operators and customer service
- Ability to prioritise and work within deadlines as well as require starting early morning and flexible working.
- Intermediate skills in the Microsoft Office Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
