An outstanding opportunity has presented itself for an experienced Supply Chain / Purchasing Officer with one of our clients located in the north western suburbs.
The Purchasing Officer’s duties will include:
• Ensuring products are in stock and available for purchase and preparing sales and production planning schedules to identify shortages in inventory requirements necessary to meet customer demand
• Preparing long term production forecasts to create production and purchasing plans
• Prepare information of stock movements and production schedules from manufacturers to supply detailed information on product movements to internal and external customers
• Manage processing and tracking of all orders for imported product to ensure inventory levels are maintained and that there are no process delays
The successful applicant will demonstrate the following:
• Demonstrated experience in a supply chain or purchasing role
• Strong numeracy and literacy skills
• A high standard of MS applications and business applications
• Available to commence asap
This is a temporary assignment for 6 months working full time hours, there is an competitive hourly rate on offer and the ability to gain experience with an industry leader.
