Can you keep our Sub-Contractors in line with our Production Schedule?
If you have the ability to create order out of chaos, possess a flair for dealing with tradespeople and can direct the work of Sub-Contractors around a changing production schedule, then this just could be the job for you!
This position would ideally suit someone:
- interested in progressing their career from being on the tools for a career in Planning / Supply Chain
- working in a customer facing / administrative position and would like the opportunity to work in a manufacturing environment
- who is currently working in a similar position and would like a change of scene
In the first few months of working here, we will support you to develop an understanding of our production operations, our range of machines and the types of options our Sub-Contractor are fitting to our machines.
You will require some skills using a computer, ideally using databases and spreadsheets, raising purchase orders and / or creating work orders. Training will be provided.
You will need a planned and organised approach to your work to keep track of our production schedule and the onsite works of a variety of Sub-Contractors.
It is really important for this position that you can be assertive when necessary so that if things get off track, you can confidently get them back on track!
Previous experience coordinating or supervising a team would be highly advantageous but is not essential.
