Exciting opportunity to join a well respected, ASX listed company on a 12 month fixed term position
Your new company
One of largest players in the Australian energy sector has an exciting opening for an experienced procurement practitioner to join their busy and well established team on a 12 month fixed term contract.
Your new role
As the Sourcing Specialist you will be working closely with the business units to promote collaboration and champion the procurement process and actively leading complex tenders and procurement activities for a range of goods and services based categories. Other key duties will include:
- Managing a number of processes and competing agendas simultaneously
- Conducting market analysis, preparing documentation and leading the market approach
- Liaising with key stakeholders for the requests for quotes and proposals
- Making key decisions to drive value creation within the business
- Negotiating with suppliers to create commercial outcomes and cost savings
What you'll need to succeed
You will have experience in a similar role in large corporate environment where you have lead and managed multiple complex tender and procurement events simultaneously. Other key skills will include:
- Strong presentation, communication, negotiation and influencing skills
- Demonstrated experience in managing multiple complex tenders for goods and services
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to build sound relationships quickly
- High attention to detail and commercial acumen
- SAP ARIBA experience will be advantageous
What you'll get in return
As the successful candidate you will be offered a 12 month fixed term contract with a salary between $80,000 - $100,000 + super pending experience. You will be working in a first class, industry leading procurement function with strong leadership and great colleagues and will be based in a great CBD location close to public transport, cafe spots and parks and gardens.
