Our client is one of Perth's leading scaffolding companies with four branches across WA. Due to recent growth they are looking for an experienced Yardman/Forklift Operator to work out of their Welshpool yard.
The Role
Working in a small team you will be responsible for maintaining the stock levels across the yard dealing with outgoing and incoming scaffolding parts. The role will include the following duties:-
- Unloading and loading trucks using forklift
- Physical labour & maintenance of yard
- Picking scaffolding parts for orders
- Returning incoming stock
- Maintaining stock levels on computer system
- Dealing with truck drivers & contractors
The role will offer full time hours on an ongoing casual basis. Hours of work are generally Monday - Friday 7.00am - 3.30pm with overtime available occasionally.
About You
Ideally you will have worked in a similar environment and have knowledge of scaffolding parts & accessories. You must be physically fit as you will be required to carry and lift heavy parts throughout the yard.
Along with a positive and hardworking attitude in order to be considered for this role you must have the following:-
- Forklift licence
- Experience using inventory systems
- Previous experience working in an industrial yard setting
- Valid 'C' class drivers licence
