Aristocrat Technologies, world leading provider of gaming solutions is looking for a Director of Strategic Planning to join our Global Operations Planning team within Global Supply Chain. We are looking for someone who is extremely flexible and enjoy a “high-change” environment where priorities can shift from day to day.

This role is a new role created to manage various Material Planning projects with the intention of creating robust, consistent and repeatable processes across the Demand, Supply and Purchasing functions within Global Supply Chain (GSC). The Sr. Mgr. of Material Planning Process and Analytics will work cross functionally across a variety of teams including Global Supply Chain, Hardware Engineering, and Commercial Finance to create, implement and maintain processes, reports and tools to optimize material planning to support all Integration Centers and all Aristocrat products.

What you'll do

  • Owner and Advocate for comprehensive End of Life (EOL) processes, reporting and management working cross functionally with GSC teams as well as Hardware Engineering to understand and minimize risk of EOL components. In addition, this function will work with Portfolio Management, Marketing, Sales and Finance to determine and manage peripheral and product life cycle dates from New Production Introduction (NPI) and EOL, as well as status tracking, analytics, and documentation by business/region.
  • Key contributor from Global Operations Planning team related to scoping, implementation, trouble shooting and maintenance of Microsoft Dynamics ERP system including identification of new processes post implementation to drive continuous improvement of planning in new environment
  • Keep a pulse on internal and external customer expectations, proactively champion and create processes to effectively integrate new learnings, adapt to best meet the collective needs of the organization and anticipate future requirements
  • Own continuous improvement across all functional processes ensuring robust, reliable and repeatable processes are in place end-to-end
  • Be a collaborative and contributing team member for all tools and processes across Global Operations Planning team
  • Be proficient and savvy with multiple information sources used for developing analytics models i.e.: shipments, fleet inventory, consumption, weeks of supply, promotions, launch/ramp of new products, end of life of cabinets and peripherals

What we're looking for

  • Excellent verbal/written communication, organization, and the ability to manage multiple projects and timelines in a dynamic and ever-changing environment
  • Enjoy and be proficient in working with numbers, scenarios analytics and mining for insights
  • Strong skills in project management, problem solving/analytics, and supply chain systems
  • Ability to think strategically and broadly about the business while also fully understanding the details, workflows, systems and near-term issues facing the department.
  • Strong business acumen, with experience driving significant organizational, process and systems improvement.
  • Take ownership and responsibility for actions, behaviors and contributions
  • Ability to build alignment cross-functionally and influence up to senior leadership
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics preferred, but not required
  • BA/BS or equivalent business experience is required
  • 10+ years Material Planning experience
  • Project creation, documentation and management experience is required

Travel Required

  • 10% travel to other Aristocrat facilities
