Our Service Delivery People (SDPs) are the face of Alsco and have a key role to play in delivering exceptional customer service within their region. Our SDPs work as part of the larger Service department at each Branch and are involved in planning and organising how we set up new or returning customers to meet their ever-changing business needs.
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Systematic loading of the truck/van to ensure efficient completion of route each day;
- Multi-drop deliveries and pick-ups;
- Ensuring stock of rental linens and other items are returned to the laundry at the right levels;
- Covering different routes on an as needs basis
- Building and maintaining relationships with customers to ensure Service Excellence
- Working with your service colleagues to ensure all the team is up to date with servicing requirements at the various customer sites you attend.
You will enjoy being on the road and interacting with other people regularly, and pride yourself on representing Alsco to customers and the community. You will also be used to meeting and exceeding performance targets set for your role.
To be successful as an SDP with us you will have the following key skills and experience:
- Valid MR License;
- Ability to actively listen to customer feedback and instructions to deliver to the right standard;
- Ability to multi-task and change servicing style depending on the customer;
- Experience in working autonomously on a multi-drop run and meeting delivery deadlines;
- Easily adapts to change and thrives on learning about new customers and their needs;
- Highly energetic with an ability to maintain a positive approach to work over the work day;
- High attention to detail to ensure you’re always leaving the branch with the right stock; and
- A drive to continuously improve our service delivery through excellent communication.
