The role is focused on improving the effectiveness and efficiency of our logistics network, including transportation network design and optimisation, and inventory management process and system (ERP) design and optimisation. The role will work with State and National stakeholders to achieve agreed outcomes.
Key accountabilities for this role include:
- Leading the Logistics team ensure quality and on-time delivery for all services
- Complete analytics in business process to identify opportunities and report on performance
- Assume a lead role in improving the effectiveness and efficiency of our national Logistics network
- Recruitment, selection and retention of staff
- Ability to organise and prioritise logistical workflow to meet the projects performance goals and business requirements.
Key criteria:
- Demonstrated success in improving team, operational and financial performance
- Proven experience in operations / logistics / supply chain management
- Demonstrated success in the leadership of change projects with multiple stakeholders
- Effective customer and/or vendor relationship building skills
