THE ROLE
With J.J. Richards’ focus on innovation, safety and customer satisfaction, we are seeking a self-motivated and enthusiastic locally based Depot Manager to lead our commercial waste vehicle operations and effectively manage daily operational goals.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the business and the surrounding region.
- Assist with operations on a day to day basis
- Strive to achieve and uphold a high level of customer service within the business
- Establish and manage relations with local Council, the public and customers
- Mentor and train your team
- Comply with laws, regulations and requirements
- Identify enhancement opportunities and suggest solutions for improvement
THE CANDIDATE
- Tertiary education / trade qualification
- You are results orientated and always strive to improve efficiencies within your management area
- Well-developed people and time management skills
- Has the ability to manage and motivate staff effectively and consistently
- KPI focused with the ability to perform under pressure
- Moderate to advanced Microsoft Office capability
- Able to successfully satisfy a pre-employment medical
