We have a fantastic opportunity for to join our global leading Xtralis team as the Melbourne Site Leader. 

This is a key, senior leadership role reporting off-shore and will give you responsibility for leading the Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) activities of the site focused on all aspects including: SIOP, EMS (Electronic Manufacturing Supplier) management, materials management, manufacturing engineering, HS&E and Quality. You will provide overall leadership and coordination to the site leadership team (comprising of ISC and non-ISC functions such as HR, Finance, Engineering and IT). Key accountabilities are delivery, quality, cost, productivity, cycle time/turn-time, inventory, customer and employee satisfaction and the implementation of initiatives to align with ISC business goals. You will develop short and long range plans to assure availability of resources in accordance with the changing business environment and drive continuous improvement by applying the Honeywell Operating System (HOS) to achieve excellence.

To succeed in this key role, you will be tertiary qualified in an engineering or supply chain related discipline and have strong knowledge of manufacturing operations, cost control and project management ideally within the mechanical-electronic/assembly manufacturing sector or an equivalent competitive environment. You will thrive working in a complex organisation and demonstrate strong ability to drive breakthrough improvements in productivity and cycle time. You will have In-depth understanding of best in class industry operating systems and of the application of Key Business processes - Strategic Business Planning, Annual Budget and Resources Management. Your knowledge of and ability to develop and interpret operating plans, budgets, capital plans and financial statements will be strong as will be your ability to lead change. In all of this you will be assisted by your excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and demonstrated ability to influence others and interact effectively with all levels of an organisation.
