An exciting opportunity is now available for a Senior Repairable Item Controller working on the Air Warfare Destroyer (AWD) Program based in Techport office in Osborne, South Australia. In partnership with the AWD Systems Program Office procurement team you will organise, conduct and coordinate procurement activities, and repair services, including management of Purchase Orders, receipting and invoices. Utilising your previous inventory management experience you will conduct Shelf Life Analysis of Spares and Repairable Items and balance inventory across customer locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordination of Procurement activities and repair services
- Provide input to the AWD Annual Maintenance Plan
- Provide data for Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) reports
- Fleet replacement and disposal actions
- Monitoring suppliers and vendors to ensure on time delivery of services
- Support and adhere to Export / Import (EXIM) compliance requirements and activities
- Updating Time to Make Serviceable for AWD unique inventory items
Skills Experience and Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in Management, Logistics and or Supply Chain related training
- Demonstrated experience with inventory management or have previously worked in a repairable item type role
- Exposure to a Defence sustainment program (desirable)
- Well-developed interpersonal skills
- Ability to independently complete multiple time-sensitive tasks
- Experienced in using finance and procurement systems
- Eligible to obtain and maintain a Australian Defence Security Clearance
