Stock Controller - Contract

This is an exciting opportunity for a young and an enthusiastic person to work in our busy Photographic Studio as a Stock Controller. Initially, this will be an 8-12 week contract assignment with the potential to become a permanent role.

The Role:
We are looking for a bright, organised and efficient individual with an established background in stock control to track, prepare and coordinate all client products for photography shoots. You will work with our team to prepare photographic sets, supporting high profile photographers in order to deliver stunning and impactful visual communications for our most valued fashion, retail and luxury brands.

This position is responsible for the receipt and dispatch of goods, product trafficking and the maintenance of a tracking system. You will prepare, organise, assemble/dissemble and label items ready for photography or dispatch as well as maintaining both the warehouse and studio areas to maximise efficiency. You will also be required to assist in other departments within the organisation as the need arises.

Your day-to-day will include:

• Maintenance, operation and reporting using internal product tracking systems;
• Receiving, logging, labeling, storage and preparation product for shoots; 
• Upon completion of Photography, collecting, packing and dispatching client product; 
• Assisting with assembly, dismantling and painting of studios areas and room sets;
• Assisting in the setting up, breaking down and correct storage of photographic equipment;

You'll have excellent communication skills, attention to detail and you’ll use your initiative to overcome problems if they arise. It's also important that you possess the following:

• Excellent team working abilities
• Good communication skills;
• Positive and cheerful attitude;
• Well presented, reliable and punctual;
• Familiar with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook);
• Good computer skills and experience using tracking systems;
• Own transport and a current driver’s license.
