About Role:
An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced, dedicated and professional Branch Manager to lead our Moranbah Branch. This is a permanent full-time opportunity offering good working conditions and is a fantastic opportunity for a confident and motivated person to join a well-established company and work within a strong team. This is a key role within the Business and will suit a Manager who is motivated, driven and has a passion for the Transport / Freight Industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day to day operations of the Moranbah Branch
- Cultivate a high performance culture
- Ensure all branch activities are performed safely, accurately and in accordance with Company policy and procedure
- Track performance and operational data, complete reporting on Branch performance including P&L and Safety reports.
- Maintain a safe working environment with a core focus on continual improvement
- Lead and develop people proactively driving engagement, empowerment and ownership
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and customers
- Meet and deliver on KPI’s in line with business strategy
- Effectively communicate at all levels with transparency
We’re looking for a person with:
- Proven experience in a Transport Management role
- A positive attitude and passion for leading and motivating a team
- Strong commercial acumen
- Valid MR Licence & Forklift Ticket
- Excellent people and communication skills
- Commitment to customer service, every time!
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- High integrity that is honest and takes accountability
- Resilience with a focus on being pro-active, flexible, and innovative
