The opportunity?
An opportunity has arisen for a customer focused Fleet Controller to join one of Australia’s leading transport and logistics service providers. This will be for an initial 8 month contract with the possibility of extending depending on future business requirements.
Duties & Responsibilities
Some of the duties, responsibilities and expectations include:
- Reviewing and consolidating driver's paperwork
- Ensuring all driver runs are accurate
- Liaising with customers and updating order status and inquiries
- Proven ability to achieve delivery KPI's
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience within the transport industry
- Experience in a transport scheduling/coordination role.
- Detailed knowledge of load configurations, weights, allocation.
- Excellent understanding of freight operations
- Working knowledge of relevant Australian transport rules and regulations.
- High level skill in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
- Strong time management skills.
- Excellent communication, customer service and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to operate autonomously and as part of a team.
