The opportunity?

An opportunity has arisen for a customer focused Fleet Controller to join one of Australia’s leading transport and logistics service providers. This will be for an initial 8 month contract with the possibility of extending depending on future business requirements.

Duties & Responsibilities

Some of the duties, responsibilities and expectations include:

  • Reviewing and consolidating driver's paperwork
  • Ensuring all driver runs are accurate
  • Liaising with customers and updating order status and inquiries
  • Proven ability to achieve delivery KPI's

Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience within the transport industry
  • Experience in a transport scheduling/coordination role.
  • Detailed knowledge of load configurations, weights, allocation.
  • Excellent understanding of freight operations
  • Working knowledge of relevant Australian transport rules and regulations.
  • High level skill in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Excellent communication, customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to operate autonomously and as part of a team.
