Your new company
Working for a private sector employer in Canberra you will join the Commercial Services Division who procure all goods and service contracts for the organisation.
Your new role
You will work with internal stakeholders in understanding their purchasing requirements, you will take a lead in the contract development process and work closely with the Contract Managers in understanding market conditions and supplier markets.
You will prepare RFT/RFQ's, support the tender evaluation process with relevant parties, negotiate with suppliers and develop contracts ensuring risks are identified.
What you'll need to succeed
You will require excellent written and interpersonal communication skills, attention to detail and well developed proof reading skills, good stakeholder management and a high level of accountability in using sound judgement.
