Our client, a highly regarded suppliers within the concrete, quarry and construction industry, is currently looking for experienced Truck and Quad Dog Drivers. All drivers are expected to help out the team and will be will be offered work in other trucks of your truck is off the road for any reason. The expectation is that you will undertake this work when required to support the team.
Standard roster is 2 weeks on days and 2 weeks on nights. 24 hour trucks.
Training / induction will take place in the North Eastern suburbs for this role. When completed training the role will drive out of a standard North Eastern location delivering to all metro areas.
The hourly rate for this position is $26.21 per hour DAYS and $34.08 per hour NIGHTS casual plus super, overtime rates and all appropriate penalties. Offered as a casual ongoing position. Position will become permanent for the right driver.
Main duties include:
- Delivering aggregates/sand to sites based in metro Adelaide
- Operating both tipper and truck and dog vehicles
- Support tipper operations when required
- Loader operation
- Completing delivery dockets
To be successful in the position you will need the following:
- Current HC or MC licence
- A minimum of 2 years HC metro driving experience
- Truck and dog, quad dog or super dog experience
- Loader ticket ESSENTIAL
- Two contactable, recent work references
- Be able to obtain a Licence History Report (from Service SA; dated within the last 3 months)
Additionally, you will need to be able to undergo a Functional Capacity Evaluation to ensure you are jobfit, Drug and Alcohol Screening and National Police Check prior to commencement at any Quality Staff client site.
