Soilco is a manufacturer of a range of soil, compost and mulch products, located in the Wollongong area. To be successful, you will demonstrate experience in driving awareness, improvements and ensuring compliance in relation to WHS along with experience in incident investigations.

You will be resourceful and tenacious with great communication and relationship building skills. The role will be integral in improving business processes, maintaining the health, safety and well-being of the workforce and continuous improvement of the WHS management system.                                                                                         

The successful candidate will be capable of multi-tasking when time constraints are a critical factor and will possess the following:

• Minimum Cert IV in WHS
• Strong understanding of WHS Legislation
• Certificate IV Workplace Training and Assessment
• Construction Induction Training (White/Blue Card)
• Current Senior First Aid Certificate
• Experience with root cause analysis and incident investigation
• Ability to cope with and manage changing deadlines / priorities
• Self-motivation and ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to act with discretion and treat confidential information appropriately
• Excellent computer skills
• WHS Auditing
