Job Description
Based at our Wagga Wagga Site, the ORM Manager will manage operational risk for two of our manufacturing facilities Wagga Wagga & Echuca. Focusing on injury and cost reduction, the ORM Manager will create a consistent approach to operational risk across all sites while ensuring compliance and engagement. This role is responsible for a number of key activities including those related to: occupational health and safety, worker’s compensation claims management, business continuity, asset conservation, environmental sustainability, and facility security.
In order to be successful in this position you will have comprehensive knowledge of workers’ compensation, environmental law and OH&S legislation as well as qualifications in workplace health and safety or a related discipline. Knowledge of environmental reporting requirements and auditing experience is also a necessity. In addition, you will have demonstrated management experience including project management, people management and financial management to ensure effective utilisation of operational risk change within the team.
