Fleet Controller
Hope Valley
Freo Group is seeking to fill the position of a Fleet Controller based at our Hope Valley Branch. You will need to be a forward thinking individual with the ability to formulate contingencies to solve problems as they arise.
The Fleet Controller plays a key part in the succession planning and development for the business and the successful applicant will be provided formal hands-on training as well as mentoring by leaders in the business.
This role is considered to be the entry role for our management pathway with Freo Group having a strong tradition of promoting within.

The Responsibilities of the Role
- The go to person in support for both the Hope Valley team and our clients;
- Ensuring compliance with legislative, internal and customer/site requirements;
- Liaising with our clients to ensure the work is executed according to expectations;
- Prepare and Manage Mobilisation, Administration and maintenance processes.
- After hours phone as required on rotation basis.
Qualities Required for Success in this Role
- Sound verbal and written communication skills;
- Resilient in nature to perform and deliver tasks in a timely manner;
- A strong ability to be organised and manage time well and attention to detail;
- A strong customer focus;
- Ability to work independently and lead others,
- Intermediate IT skills with exposure to database scheduling systems;
- Skills in planning works and projects (desirable, but not essential);
- A knowledge and understanding of fleet operations, logistical management and experience with crane hire (desirable, but not essential);
- Technical industry knowledge (desirable, but not essential).
