An amazing opportunity is now available for an experienced Material Requirements Planning (MRP) Controller to join the Spare Parts team based at our new Warwick Farm location; to become vital key members in the Daikin team.
Our Opportunity:
Reporting to the Spare Parts Manager, this position is responsible for controlling the MRP and distribution of all Spare Parts. This also includes the planning, purchasing, monitoring of SAP Master data and maintaining inventory stock levels according to business trends. Some your daily responsibilities will include however will not be limited to the following:
- Full analysis of demand to determine SAP MRP levels across all distribution plants.
- Create and maintain customer data on our Global Service Data Bank with up to date information on Daikin Australia's inventory levels and prices
- Daily review of stock shortages as well as combination of internal daily reports.
- Put together SAP MRP proposals to determine purchase orders and stock transfers to replenish inventory levels and fill internal and external customers’ requirements.
- Assist with ad-hoc queries as per business requirements as well adhere to monthly KPI's.
The Person:
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A proven track record within a similar position with a high focus on MRP- preferably 3-5 years of experience.
- Strong expertise using SAP preferably in MM and SD
- Intermediate level of MS Excel
- Ability to effectively communicate and build relationships
- Experience working in a fast paced industry with a high attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to deal with conflicting situations and proven problem solving skills.
- A strong belief of Daikin's values and philosophies.
