The Warehouse team in Melbourne are currently seeking an experienced and driven individual to join the team! If you are seeking an opportunity that is fast paced and rewarding, then we want to hear from you.
Key Results and Tasks
Working closely in a small, supportive team environment, the successful candidate will be responsible for the safe loading/unloading of containers, whilst meeting client expectations, exceeding set KPIs and maintaining DSVs standards.
Major tasks include but are not limited to:
- Receiving and handling of freight safely and efficiently
- Picking & packing of orders
- Partaking in regular stocktakes
- Communicating to key stakeholders on a daily basis
- Identifying current or potential issues in regards to OHS
- Enter and update information in Cargo wise One when out turning freight
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers/transport carriers
- Support the Warehouse Manager by following all operational procedures
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness and conduct daily safety checks
Key Competencies
- Current Forklift license
- Industry knowledge and experience in a similar role
- OHS focused
- Experience on a Linde branded forklift is advantageous
- DG experience is advantageous
- Communicating Information (articulating information, explaining things, projecting social confidence, questioning assumptions)
- Showing Resilience (showing composure, staying calm, dealing with pressure, handling angry individuals, resolving arguments)
- Processing Details (meeting deadlines, finishing tasks, checking things, ensuring accuracy, following procedures, minimising risks)
- Building Relationships (establishing rapport, interacting with people)
