We currently have a full time position available for a Procurement and Logistics Coordinator with the position reporting directly to the Operations Manager.
In this role you be responsible for,
- Supporting both QLD, SA and WA operations (Based in Dalby QLD);
- Developing, implementing, and managing procurement specific requirements in line with the company's policies and procedures;
- Securing best market purchase price in all areas of purchasing and work with the suppliers to establish ongoing professional business relationships;
- To manage effective supply arrangements in line with Ozcon's operational requirements;
- To identify, manage and execute specific purchasing improvement areas and opportunities as they arise;
- To deliver procurement related benefits, including supplier performance, in accordance with Operational targets;
- Securing and organising transport for incoming and outgoing of all goods and products;
- Data entry and compliance of all documents relating to procurement and logistics;
- Completing Weekly / Monthly stock takes.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar Procurement and Logistics role including interfacing with suppliers;
- Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and possess good communication skills;
- Good computer skills including Microsoft, Excel, Word documents etc.;
- Ability to manage supplier relationships and performance;
- Must be able to work well in a team at all times;
- Have a reasonable understanding of transport and logistics including Chain of Responsibility (COR Training will be available for the successful candidate);
- Previous experience using MYOB AccountRight (including inventory module) would be advantageous;
- Experience in the purchasing of steel pipe products would also be beneficial to this role.
